Abbey Lee Kershaw

In the fast-paced world of fashion, Abbey Lee Kershaw is hot property. The Melbourne-born babe first landed on fashion’s radar after winning a teen modelling competition at age 14. Fast forward four years and the 18-year-old beauty has become one of Australia’s most in-demand models both on and off the runways.

A lover of the hippy chic look, Kershaw hit international headlines after scoring a Gucci catwalk exclusive during the A/W ‘08/09 collections. “Out of all the shows I did, they were the best clothes I wore,” The New York-base model told Vogue Australia. “The collection felt very bohemian, which is right up my alley.”

In that season, Kershaw took nearly 30 Paris catwalk shows by storm, including Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Chanel, Sonia Rykiel and Valentino. When the collections came to an end, Style.com named the newcomer one of the industry’s Top 10 models, and the high fashion editorials shortly followed.

In between shooting coveted campaigns for D&G, Calvin Klein and Gucci – she’s been cast as the face of the new Gucci perfume – Kershaw has appeared in a number of high fashion editorials for W, Vogue Italia, Paris Vogue and most recently, secured her first Vogue Australia cover.
