Hollywood came out in their usual fashionable fare for the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. We saw a large majority of plain dresses in solid bright colors, wavy updos and chandelier earrings, encapsulating the traditional glamour of the silver-screen sirens. Everyone played it safe and conservative -- some more than others (Meryl Streep didn't even buy a dress). Only a few ensembles took center stage, but here are the contenders and winners:

For the classic look, Evan Rachel Wood stunned in a deep teal Monique Lhuillier complemented by her light copper locks. Diane Lane was hot in red, the most popular color of the night, and Frieda Pinto was angelic in a cornflower blue. But Kate Winslet wins the award for the best classic dress with her curve-hugging, cobalt Narciso Rodriguez gown.

Adding some bright colors to the mix, Laura Linney and Eva Longoria chose peachy hues, while Holly Hunter stopped traffic in magenta. However, no one could outshine Viola Davis who radiated in her gold canary one-shoulder gown. Although she went home without an Actor, she's our pick for brightest star of the night.
