The first change that we saw in Burberry Men's Spring/Summer 2022 show was the setting. Saying goodbye to the forest of the brand's Fall/Winter 2021 show, designer Riccardo Tisci did a complete 180-degree turn by showing his new series of looks in an esplanade of sand.
Presenting a fresh and renewed aesthetic, Tisci proposes a new summer wardrobe by highlighting trench coats in shades of beige and black, as well as materials with some transparency. Tank tops and shirts in geometric prints punctuate the collection, while leather garments and accessories reimagines the punk aesthetic with skeleton imagery, faux piercings, and thick chains in acid colors.
The collection, titled "Universal Passport" tries to empathize with a daring society eager to experiment with fashion, showing that Burberry wants to speak to and find a connection with its international audience.
