Hedi Slimane presented Celine Hommes' Fall/Winter 2021 collection at Château De Chambord with a mix of youth-inspired regalia and punk-chic ensembles, taking a new angle on TikTok's popular e-boy style Slimane has found inspiration from in recent seasons. "Teen Knight Poem" comes to life in a short film featuring young horsemen protagonists galloping with their steeds as they showcase Slimane's newest creations. During Spring/Summer 2021 Haute Couture Week, the equine creatures were seen all over the runway. This season, the Maison renews its interest in horses and presents its version of young Renaissance knights riding black and white Andalusian stallions-an austere image with medieval hues that opens with a group of riding squires led by a black flag bearing the Celine logo.

The new collection features gothic accents, aligning with the overall theme of the show. Numerous pieces reference back to silhouettes that defined young subculture: leather jackets, vests, bomber jackets, and raglan-shouldered coats. The collection blends much-loved elements of '90s fashion with the gothic aesthetics of the medieval age. Slimane's passion for minerals and precious stones is reflected in the collection's opulent embroideries, while the knights' knitted chain mail, handmade in the Parisian ateliers, is applied to bomber jackets and corsets. A study of the color palette also reflects the style of courtisan life and ceremonial dresses of the 16th century: black and brown with gold and silver accents.
