First noticed sometime in the sixties (our favorite decade!), patchworks jeans are making a major comeback this fall- helped by design houses like Chloe, which revived the trend by showcasing it on it’s runways.
Now this isn’t an easy trend- it can be hard to put together an outfit involving a pair of basically super distressed jeans and not look like a scarecrow. So we’ve got some super simple tips on wearing this trend.
Patchwork jeans style tips:
- Steer away from leather or suede jackets and patchwork jeans as a combination
- Steer away from wearing blazers or other layered tops
- Keep it simple, like pairing the jeans with a basic white tee and, at max, an interesting long, stringy necklace.
- If you’re out a certain age, you might want to stay from the trend
all together as it may look like you’re “trying” too hard to be trendy.
