Designer denim is certainly nothing new but the jean brands at the forefront of fashion may be new to you. Take a break from Sevens and Citizens and check out these denim lines. We've got the scoop on five that you should keep on your radar.
1. Resin
Keep an eye on the future and mark your calendars for the release of
the new denim line Resin this fall. Resin is the extremely promising
venture of the iconic denim brand Paper Denim & Cloth's co-founder
Chris Gilbert. The line promises to focus on fit and the overall
aesthetic is very modern and metropolitan. Best of all, in an era of
ever increasing designer denim prices, Resin will be available at a
more reasonable price point: the price tags will top off at about $150.
"My biggest goal is for someone to pick out a pair, try them on, and be
shocked when they see the price," Gilbert told WWD. Sounds like a great
goal to us. (Images via WWD)

2. Cheap Monday
What is Cheap Monday? It's surprisingly self-explanatory. Cheap Monday
is when you've got to slum it on Monday because you burned through all
your cash during the weekend. That phenomenon is the namesake of this
line, which is appropriately budget friendly. The brand, known for its
skull logo, makes bold styles for girls that aren't afraid to stand out
in a crowd.

3. Rich & Skinny
This denim line already counts Jessica Alba, Blake Lively and Hilary
Duff among its many devoted fans. The brand has garnered praise for
many of its styles however this season is getting a lot of attention
for their super casual yet still chic boyfriend style jeans, which is
right on trend for this summer.
