Growing up in a family where the men outnumbered the women 5 to 1, no matter how many Barbie's I played with or how many dresses I wore, it seemed as though I was predestined to be part fashionista and part tomboy.
Whether it was a birthday party or a Bar-B-Que,
before it was all said and done I'd always get sucked into 1 of 3 games
which were either softball, kickball or basketball. Since I was used to
the extensive running around (the fashionista side of me) would often
look for opportunities to wear some of the cutest "kicks" to
compliment my adrenaline filled activities. Whether it was Nike,
Reebok, Converse or Adidas (even puma has some cute shoes) I was not
only overwhelmed with the (usually male) horseplay, I found myself (and
to this day) totally obsessed with the flyest "tennis" shoes.
