For Fall/Winter 2021, Lanvin’s creative director Bruno Sialelli looks backwards and forwards with elegance and optimism through a playful and luxurious video paying homage to the MTV music years of the early 2000s. Models Paloma Elsesser, Quinn Mora, Dame Lo, Yura Nakano, and Israeli actor Tom Mercier among others, strut, dance, sing, and pose in Lanvin to the soundtrack of ‘Rich Girl’ by Gwen Stefani, featuring Eve, who makes a cameo appearance in the short film reprising her rap solo from the 2004 original song.

Made with lustrous and sensuous fabrics like satin, taffeta, and silk charmeuse paired with drifts of ostrich feathers, grosgrain ribbons, and glamorous animal-print faux furs, evening cocktail dresses and coats flow around the bodies of the models to give this uplifting and bedazzling Lanvin collection an anticipatory insight into what the world will look like after global lockdown. Remembering the celebrations of the past and imagining the parties of tomorrow, Lanvin Fall/Winter 2021 is a ceremony of the French Maison’s oldest Parisian couture moments of the 1920s.
