I have had a thing for the Japanese cartoon icon for as long as I can remember. I used to have a push-cart with a Hello Kitty toy on it that I clung to as a toddler learning how to walk. In fact, my parents still make fun of me for those moments when my twin sister was running around the room and I was just holding onto Hello Kitty for my dear life. Needless to say, she holds a special place in my life.
