The designers Rita Dhody and Narendra Kumar Ahmed, who were supposed to design the outfits of the entire cast of the film, seem to have gone different ways. Reason?



Ego clashes, we are told. An insider reveals that Nari is not too happy with the sight of Kangana Ranaut’s designer Rick Roy on the scene. Rick who is a friend and personal favourite of Kangana, was asked by the actress to design her outfits for this film too.

“Nari has been throwing tantrums which is not going down too well with Rita Dhody. The other day he was grumbling on the sets that everyone’s doing things their own way and there is no discipline or accountability for anything. Fed up with all this, Rita has now asked Rick to help her with the designs of the other starcast which includes Priyanka Chopra’s dresses too,” says the source.




When BT asked Rita Dhody she didn’t deny the rumour but said quite diplomatically, “No comments. I would have spoken about the film but we are bound by contract not to do so. I think the best person to talk to is the director himself,” she said.

Rick Roy seems to be ignorant of the whole development. “They did tell me to design some outfits for the starcast including Priyanka. But it’s not only me, there are a lot of other designers working on this film. I don’t know if Narendra is in or out,” he said.
