Co-Creative Directors Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada are expanding the scope of Milan Fashion Week, showing the Spring/Summer 2022 collection in two global fashion hotspots-the house's home of Milan, and Shanghai, China. Showing that fashion reaches beyond borders-with some help from technology-the two runway shows were orchestrated simultaneously in both locations.

The catwalk featured tough, oversized leather jackets; skirts and mini dresses with skinny trains billowing behind them; and a number of nods to corsetry with boning, lace-up, and underwire elements sewn into tops and gowns. A maze of screens allowed attendees to watch the models walk alongside their international counterparts. When the final walk through came, it was clear that Prada aims to serve a fierce, well dressed woman who alternates between professional settings and the city streets. As per the runway, she can accessorize her sleek attire with Prada's pointed ballet flats and cherry red mini purses.
