Now that summer is here I like to use lighter products on my face, and mineral makeup is ideal for giving yourself a natural dewy glow. I have just been introduced to Mia Minerals, a brand new British brand and have been enjoying testing out thee range of products. Their Mia Mineral foundation comes in 6 shades, from the lightest Ivory (perfect for my pale skin) to darker shades such as Tan and Coffee.
The actual foundation powder is very finely milled and feels really
light on the skin. A few sweeps with the included brush give you a very
fair coverage and if you add more product and gently buff the skin you
get a deeper, more even base. I was very intrigued by the design of the
Mia Minerals Foundation pot as I'd never before seen one that
incorporated the brush as part of the design. Read on for my thoughts.

The foundation was packaged in a light plastic white pot that was in
two parts. The base contained the product and the top half featured a
removal kabuki brush head, and an area for the product to be mixed and
applied. I quite liked the fact that the brush was part of the design
as it felt a hygienic (and useful) way to carry it with you, and it's a
good way to make sure you're never without the application brush.
