Since I didn't have an official runway pass, I had to be quick when snapping the stars who showed up when their favorite designers showed their collections.
Anna Wintour, editor of Vogue, sprints down the runway with her bodyguard in tow as soon as the designer takes a bow. She's fast, even in super high heels.
But some stars love the attention, so they stand and pose, chat it up with everyone and pass out thousands of air kisses.
Two people who made the scene many times last year -- Paris Hilton and Kim Cattrall -- seemed to be absent this year.

And just when it appeared that Donald Trump was another absentee, he showed up with his new blond hair shellacked into place.
Some stars, including Brooke Shields, change clothes, so they're always wearing the designer of the show they're going to. And there are some, like Susan Sarandon, who don't dress up at all for the event.
Not pictured are Hilary Swank, (I was too far away) and Rob Lowe, who I saw in a restaurant. Eva Longoria caused an uproar at the Michael Kors show, even though she came in at the last minute.
One thing's for sure: These are people who have a front-row seat.
