LACY lingerie, pearl necklaces and flowers to boot... not that these ladies needed any accessories to enhance their beauty.

Perhaps that's why two designers at Columbia's most prestigious fashion event turned pot plants and a kitchen colander into hairpieces.

Colombian designer Laura Martinez attached ferns in white plastic pots to black headbands and probably giggled as her fearless models traipsed down the runway in pleated crepe cocoons.

Her countryman designer Marta Castano opted instead for a silver satellite-like headpiece set off with dramatic Clockwork Orange-esque eyes.
