The Soil Association organic label means that no pesticides or nasty chemicals were used in manufacturing, and all the products are vegan friendly as well. When these cosmetics find themselves washed down the drain they don't end up polluting water sources, but instead biodegrade nicely. SOPHYTO say their entire range averages 95 per cent organic ingredients.
Water
based means that the cosmetics are 'oil in water' based, rather than
the usual oils and butters combo. In fact SOPYTO tends to use aloe leaf
juice instead of water in its products, which has the same effect.
The range, made in the UK, includes cleansers and moisturisers, as well as face masks and a sampler kit that lets you try out various different products. It would be nice to see some male grooming products, but there's no law that says that men can't use face masks, is there?
Prices range from around £20 for a 150ml bottle of Deep Pore Foaming Cleanser, to around £25 for the 40ml bottle of Normalising Day Face Moisturiser (pictured). The range goes into production this month and should be available from January on the SOPHYTO website, Beauty Expert and professional outlets like dermatologists and spas -- not to mention shopping channel favourite QVC.
