Feeling flushed?

Nothing says spring quite like a beautiful, flushed rosy cheek (just
ask this model from the Anne Valerie Hash show). A subtle wash of
delicate color brings images of gentle rain and bursting blooms to
mind. This is the quintessential spring trend. “Try a crème blush
layered over a tinted moisturizer,” suggests Simkins. “Or, if you
require a bit more coverage, try a pressed powder foundation and a
powder blush.”

Stained red lips are a classic runway staple and always a great look
for an evening on the town. But, this season, everyday lips are much
softer, as we saw on the Zuhair Murad runway. “Lip liner is out,”
advises Simkins. “Get a great, soft pout with a lip exfoliater,
followed by a subtle tinted gloss.”
