SIDE BUN
Use a comb to divide your hair along a low side parting.

Secure the smaller side with a clip to keep it out of the way.
On the other side, take a section of hair about the same width as your thumb and divide it into three.
Begin to plait, making sure you pull the hair tightly to form a neat braid, starting close to the head.

As you plait across the head, add in smaller sections of hair from either side of the braid - like a French plait.
This will secure it to your head and give a nice chunky risen shape and a solid sweep behind.
