This autumn as series of fashion shows took place in Moravian cities Brno, Zlín and Ostrava, all organized under the banner “Together for the Children”. The aim of the series of events was to support underprivileged children in those regions.

Initially Tereza Maxová didn’t intend to take to the catwalk herself, but then had a change of heart. “I already consider myself as part of the older generation, but it is true that they convinced me in Ostrava, so I couldn’t refuse to get on the catwalk in Brno,” said the model before the show.

In addition to dresses from Klára Nademlýnská, attendees at the event were able to catch a glimpse of designs from Josef Klír and from labels Luna, Coccinelle and Puma. Designer Iva Kubelková showcased her designs in the evening..

The Tereza Maxová Foundation was founded in 1997 with the objective of providing assistance to children growing up in foster care and in institutions. Through various associations, it helps families who are threatened with having their children taken away. During its existence, the foundation has been able to provide more than 150 million Czech crowns to this cause.

Tereza Maxová was born in 1971 in Pardubice. Her professional career began in 1989, shortly after the Velvet Revolution, when she left for Paris. Since then, her face has appeared on the cover of Britian’s Vogue magazine as well as Elle, Marie Claire and Glamour.
