The pioneer of the Turkish fashion world, the founder of the first global Turkish brand Vakko, Vitali Hakko died at the age of 94. Vitali Hakko began working at the age of 14 as an apprentice in Mahmutpaşa. Hakko founded Şen Şapka after the hat revolution and later went on to make his mark on the Turkish fashion world with Vakko. Hakko dedicated his life to the Vakko brand label, which is a hallmark of Turkish fashion. Hakko will be buried with three separate funeral ceremonies held today. First, his son Cem Hakko will hold a ceremony at his first plant. After the religious ceremony at Neva Şalom synagogue, Hakko will be buried at the first Jewish Cemetery at Ulus.
