WSPA-TV reports that officers in Anderson say someone stole 330 pairs
of panties and 20 bras, worth an estimated $6,000. The merchandise was
all taken from the Victoria's Secret in the Anderson Mall.
No arrests have been made.
These types of crimes appears to be a growing trend. Stores in 11 other states have seen similar large thefts of lingerie.
Police say the thieves may be selling the merchandise online.
