The second night of the Wella Fashion Week moved to Bocarski Dom, where it will remain until the very end. However, from the very beginning there was a feeling that the production seized up: too many visitors compared to the capacity of the place. The event started to turn into a rural party when people literally started to fight for first line seats, which eventually became available for ‘ordinary’ people, due to little response from known and famous poeple. The sound technician fought with his standing, and the models, in full show model professionalism, ended up on half of the catwalk.
Differently from last season’s dresses of hair, whose hairs fell on the audience, Wella figured out excellent ideas to open the catwalk and introduce its hair care products. Famous faces assimilated the roles of former and nowadays celebrities who, with their hairstyle, pronouncedly denoted the years from 1920 until now.
It is a pity that those who should have saved the first opening day did not even appear. In fact, the British crazy duo who love Moscow, could not come due to an accident happened to their assistant. As tonight in far away Britain the Fashion Award is assigned, we will soon find out what Rodnik’s misfortune and fortune is about.
Surely this world is waiting for some of them
Young students of the design faculty exhibited their prêt-à-porter collections and announced the arrival of new strengths: Nina Sklempe, Ines Zrnc Gregorina, Michaela Muzgonja, Natalija Smogor, Iva Simunovic, Marina Prpic and Ana Puhac, Ines Jaksic, Valentina Vlah, Marina Dobrikovic and Sara Dracic.
This world was surely waiting for Iva Simunic’s message with a recognizable print in a Andy Warhol style which was composed in a minimalist black creation, for the romantic impressionistic muses Marina Dobrikovic and Sara Dracic, and effective swimming costumes Ines Jaksic. Take a look at the VIDEO.

Flower child or trashy android
Andrea Lovrovic Kodrnja transformed a traditional crochet technique into a flirty collection based on two-pieces. This is a collection set with a soul which will bring hippies back in town. In the show followed Ana Marija Percaic with an unimaginative collection in trendy winter colours, in this case late on the whole season, MU: N with a successful experiment of assembling knitting and texture, and Biljana Stimac with her creations launched from fullly futuristic trash. Some designers from outside the Croatian boarders (and standard) will come forth, so we can all hope in some new fashion lessons with perspective ahead.
