"I’m going to skip the Fashion Week in Mumbai as I need to concentrate on my 60-designs collection which I’ve planned as the opening show of the Fashion Week on March 12. It’s going to be a cutting edge show. And away from the usual bling that I am known for. I’m going to showcase contemporary mainstream ensembles," he says.

Vikram is excited about going all out with different looks for the models’ hair, makeup and accessories apart from their clothes. "I haven’t planned any theme. But I will be careful about strategic aspects such as fragile egos, the guest list, who sits in which row and more," he laughs.

He also plans to move away from the denim look that he himself sports. "I am going to wear a black sherwani." He is one of the two Indian designers invited for the Dubai Fashion Week which is after the one in Delhi. Action stations, Vikram, perhaps its bling time again in Dubai, we say.
