Within a day - yes, a day - my skin felt smoother. And by the end of
one week I noticed a reduction in the depth of my lines. It made such a
difference that I felt like a teenager who's just had their braces
removed - I kept feeling my skin to make sure it really was that smooth. There is a set back. The price. It's $195. But really, you don't use that much at a time and the results justify the price.

SKII
I think I've found the best moisturiser I've ever tried. SKII Signs Treatment Totality has won me over.

Biotherm
Of all the moisturisers reviewed this week, I found Biotherm Age Fitness gave the most moisture for the least amount of cream.
Once I got used to using less I found my skin was soft and hydrated - no more running back to the bathroom for a second layer if you've been too stingy. And because it boosts the moisture content of your skin - there's less chance for wrinkles to take hold.
I love the funky colour of the jar and the cream has a lovely subtle smell. At around $50 a tub - it's good value.

In Essence
In Essence's Facelift serum should be a staple of the 30 something's skin care regime as it helps minimise lines and provides all over skin tightening.
The product is not overly perfumed which is great for those with sensitive skins and has a cooling calming feel when applied directly after cleansing.
After a week of use there were some definite toning effects and the serum serves as a great under makeup product.

Ella Bache
Like most anti-ageing moisturisers Ella Bache's Age Defense adds nourishment to the skin to prevent wrinkles. But what I like about this product is that it also attacks dark circles. As a woman in her early thirties, I'm very conscious of these - I just can't party like I used to.
It's also a preventative cream - so if you're just starting to get lines - this will keep them at bay for longer.
The moisture is incredibly light and smooth, has a sublte smell and leaves skin feeling softer in just a few days.

Revlon

Revlon's age defying sculpt-logic made my skin feel clean and thoroughly moisturised.
I preferred the cream to the lotion as it has a slightly thicker consistency which moisturised my skin better. But unfortunately the feeling didn't last all day, probably because of the air conditioning in our office.
The products smell delicious, the packaging is quality (I'm a
sucker for good packaging) & both the day and night creams do the
all important job of moisturising the skin - which prevents wrinkles.

Clarins
I love the name of this product "Younger longer" as opposed to anti-ageing - it already makes you feel good.
Clarins recommend using the "youth stimulating method" which unfortunately doesn't involve finding a toy boy, but rather a series of little pats on your cheeks.
The moisturiser is light and deeply nourishing without being greasy.
You use it in addition to your current skin care range - meaning it
will really give you an extra moisture boost.

Dermalogica
I haven't really noticed the anti-ageing benefits of Dermalogica's Intensive Moisture Balance in one week, but it does make my skin feel moisturised all day. And maybe it will start to show soon.
The moisturiser has an odd texture, somewhere between a gel and a cream.
Going on it feels like it's going to be greasy, but it isn't at all and is absorbed quickly.

MAC
THE MAC Fast Response eye creme does what it says it does - works fast.
The smooth cream goes on beautifully and is absorbed quickly into the delicate eye area. And the feeling lasts all day. It is particularly good for eyes suffering dryness through age or partying a bit too hard.
As well as giving all-day moisture, it is an instant pick-me-up for the fatigue which is always obvious around the eyes.
Lancome
IT look me a little while to figure out how to get the Lancome's Light Catch concealer out of the tube and onto my face. I pressed the button and brushed - nothing. In the end it was a simple as a shake. Like many products on the market I wanted more instructions.
Once applied though, I was impressed with this product. It's thick - but not too clumpy and can hide even the most hideous dark lines. Plus the brush means you don't have to touch your face - so there's less chance of spreading nasties like pimples.
I like it so much, I've been carrying it around in my handbag for emergency breakouts.

Origins
WHETHER you've got a hangover, or a bone cracking headache, make sure you grab some Origins Peace of Mind on-the-spot relief.
Squeeze a little of the serum onto the tips of your fingers, rub them together, then massage the liquid into your temples and the back of your neck and beathe deeply.
While the smell of peppermint uplifts the senses, the serum also works to relax and cool the muscles providing instant release from stress and tension.
If you've got a hangover this will take the edge off.
Clarins
CLARINS new Instant Light Complexion Perfector is touted as a radiance-boosting cream that smoothes and evens skintone, whilst giving a luminous glow. Radiant, luminous, glowing; it sounds like a miracle product, and after trying it, it might well be. The cream glides on evenly and smoothly, has a light texture and gives skin a natural looking finish.
The product gave my tired, dehydrated skin a silky glow and evened out skin inconsistencies extremely well. Bonus points go to the luminosity factor for not leaving my face looking over-shimmered.
Garnier
ALL that partying can leave your skin looking like a mess but there's no excuse for not removing your makeup when there are products like this.
If you haven't tried face wipes - you're missing out. They are so simple - all you need to do is wipe it over your face and they remove far more dirt and grime than an ordinary cleanser with water.
Garnier's latest face wipe is designed for sensitive skin. It is alcohol and fragrance free and contains vitamin B5 which will leave tired skin looking more supple soft and comfortable - just what you need after a night on the sauce.
The Body Shop
THE one thing I can't stand after a night on the town is sore feet and legs from high heels. I would love to have a long professional Swedish massage the day after, but that's not really practical.
The Body Shop's cooling leg balm does provide a much needed pick-me-up. The gel not only cools the muscles (for about a minute) but it also makes your skin feel refreshed and it smells deliciously like peppermint.
It's great for massaging tired feet - even if you have to do it yourself.
OLAY
THE Olay Regenerist mask package claims to reduce appearance of deep lines and pores and firm your skin.
Other masks I've tried leave your face feeling as though you can't move without it cracking. But the Olay masks are moist - which made me feel as though as I could relax with this on forever (they recommend 15 or more). Peeling the mask off is quick, doesn¿t require any more cleansing and my skin did feel smooth and rejuvenated.
The lines didn't disappear but they did look less obvious for the day. Great for relaxing after a big night or maybe even a pick me up before heading out again.
